Regular maintenance for any machine is key to it's longevity and reliability. On this Bobman Service page we provide all the information you may require to keep your Bobman in top shape.
Here are some of the most common queries we get.

What engine oil should I use? - A: 05w30 fully synthetic or 10w40 Semi synthetic.

How much engine oil do I need? A: Typically you will need 2 litres for the Hatz B40 fitted in Bobman Pro, S, Super, and Front Load.

How often should I change the oil? A: Oil should be changed in the first 25 hours for a new machine, then every 200 hours after that.

How often should I replace the other filters? A: We recommend you change the air and diesel filter every 200 hours when you change the engine oil.
TIP- Check your air filter regularly (every week if you are using lime) and
blow it out or tap it to remove the loose dust off it. -
What hydraulic oil should I use? A: Hydraulic oil (HV32)

Where does the hydraulic oil go in? A: Fill hydraulic oil (HV32) at filter housing on the right side of hydraulic oil tank. See Maintenance tip PDF for details.

The Self Load differs from other Bobman models as it has a 2 cylinder Kubota engine. The following section provides information for servicing and maintaining the Bobman Self Load.

How much engine oil do I need? A: Typically you will need 2.5 litres for the Kubota Z482.

How often should I change the oil? A: Oil should be changed in the first 50 hours for a new machine, then every 200 hours after that.

How often should I replace the other filters? A: We recommend you change the engine, air and diesel filter every 200 hours when you change the engine oil. The hydraulic filter should be replaced every 500 hours.
